Our story
From Kearney and Roland Berger to BestConsultant
Florian Leloup founded BestConsultant after experiencing first-hand the limits of generic tools inside consulting firms.
Trained at ESSEC and the CNAM in information systems, Florian worked as a consultant at A.T. Kearney, then as Senior Consultant in IT Strategy at Roland Berger.
Working with top-tier firms, he saw recurring issues — talent tracking, staffing, evaluations, delivery and billing scattered across spreadsheets and software never designed for consulting.
On 5 January 2015, he founded BestConsultant — a complete web application dedicated to managing consulting firms. Strategy firms soon adopted the tool, including Roland Berger among the early clients.
